How could it be that Polaroid film will no longer be made after this year?? I'm totally heartbroken. Mainly because I don't have enough money to buy several years worth to stockpile in my pretend basement.

I was equally disappointed. I bought a Polaroid camera last year on Ebay and immediately wasted all the film I had.
I feel the same way. I'm going to sell my polaroid 680 because I don't have the money to buy film. BUT, I recently bought a Polaroid 440 (peel-apart) because I can continue using it with fuji film. And the polaroid film for it is less expensive than the 600 type. Dont worry, there are certain ways to survive. ha!
Sad but true. I joined a Flickr group called "The Last Polaroid On Earth." Right now, there are only 9 pictures. I hope the pool stays small for a looong time!
A little place where photography, travel, food, music, arts, crafts, pets, and little bits of a vast number of other things somehow connect and reassemble into "i love clementine."

Thanks for the life-saving tip, Raquel! :)
And Erin, I might have to join that group too!
I know, I'm heartbroken, too. And now the price for a pack is like $17+... give me a break. So sad.
bag from target, circa 2005? minus pseudo ethnic keychain.
